“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
-- Arthur C. Clarke. author of 2001: A Space Odyssey
To a child, something as simple as a lightning bug can be magical, but Nadia isn’t like every child.
She doesn’t want to watch the magic -- she wants to see how it works. Everything in the Curious World of Nadia is a puzzle to be solved, a secret to be discovered, a enigma to be understood. With her team of junior scientists, her brother William and sister Lydia, she uses her Shrink-Ray app (under development, patent pending) to take the mysteries of time and space, and of life itself, head on.
In the real world, though, the disciplines of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) are becoming the language of the next generation. Turning the miracles of science into tools for the betterment of mankind is the aim of today’s educators, and we believe Nadia can be a guide to lead her viewers to become the scientists they’ll need to navigate the next century and beyond.
Unlike most entertainment geared for young audiences, The Curious World of Nadia can be more than the sum of its parts, an agent of change for a brave new world.
